Our Only Home
We have pushed the planet to the edge, trading the future for
what we think we need today.
In the name of convenience, in the name of profit, we consume because we can —
overlooking the waste, ignoring the harm,
as if this were not one planet, one ocean, one atmosphere,
the only home shared by all life.
By what right, then, do we decide which beings may share the Earth with us, and which may not, when it is the only home we all have?
